Saami - the indigenous population of Lapland: the north of Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Kola Peninsula. Deer, their constant companions, for many years have been transport means and a source of food for the Sámi. The Sami led a semi-nomadic lifestyle, migrating after the herd as reindeer moss (reindeer favorite food) reserves were depleted.
During the tour we will treat the reindeer with this traditional food. In the shaman shed by the fire, we will listen to Sami legends, stories about life, history and ideas of the indigenous people of the North about the structure of the world. And afterwards, drinking fragrant Sami herbal tea with lingonberry pie, we will see the household items and clothing of this people. At the end of the excursion, we will have an exciting snowmobile or reindeer sleigh ride (extra fee) and a memory photo session in national Sami clothes.
